It’s a smart idea with the goal of getting young kids to school without cars or a school bus. It’s called the Walking School Bus – an increasingly popular international initiative – and it is basically a parade of students walking from stop to stop as a group on their way to classes. The result is groups of students enjoying fresh air, exercise and friendly conversation.
