Eclectic Curiosity

“What if”. What a great idea for a television program! IF is a series of hour-long drama-documentary films which aims to analyse the biggest issues which will face us in the years ahead by exploring future scenarios. The BBC has taken scenario planning and, based on research and interviews, made it entertainment – and it’s apparently as controversial as it is provocative.

If… the lights go out

If… things don’t get better

If… the generations fall out

If… women ruled the world

If… we don’t stop eating

We seem to have two choices. If unexpected and tumultuous events lie ahead we can stick our heads in the sand and hope for the best, or we can try to work out what might be round the next corner and aim to do something about it.
