Finally, in contrast to the sad case of MGM v. Grokster, here’s a nice example of a large organization adapting to new digital times. The American Cancer Society is harnessing the vast reach and relevance of online communities for a good cause. It’s introducing its traditional Relay for Life fundraising event to the Second Life virtual community in what is apparently the first such non-grassroots initiative.
