Neil French, the Matador

Legendary adman and storyteller extraordinaire Neil French does a masterful job of describing how great advertising is created by equating it to the bull-fighting dance of the matador (30 minute video courtesy of ihaveanidea.org).

And likewise, but without the pageantry and gore of the corrida, is another thoughtful review of the ad biz. This one by Creative Director Cory Noonan in a BBC News Magazine essay, In defence of advertising.
